About Robin Parker
Robin Parker started his career over 12 years ago, after studying Forestry and Arboriculture at Cannington College in Somerset. From humble beginnings came a thriving small local business, with much repeat custom earned through hard work and a conscientious approach.
Throughout this time, Robin has completed contracts for numerous authorities, councils and trusts, as well as private landowners and estates. A diverse portfolio of works includes complex tree dismantles in prominent locations, leaky woody dam creation and riparian tree planting projects, hedge laying, charcoal production, right through to commercial forestry contracting with mechanical harvesting equipment.
Whilst this has been varied and fulfilling work, Robin feels it’s time for a new chapter in his career, answering nature’s cry for help with the current environmental challenges we’re facing. Robin has begun studying for a certificate in Ecological consultancy, with an aim to offer solutions to help improve our environmental and wildlife conservation efforts. This will be realised through a variety of services, not least Wildscaping... a relatively new term that describes a hybrid of horticulture and ecology, developing gardens with wildlife as a primary consideration.
