Wildscaping
Wildscaping, in simple terms, refers to landscaping with the primary purpose of supporting wildlife. This is essentially a hybrid of horticulture and ecology, where we aim to replicate certain features of the wild, into a more urban setting.
There has been much interest in ‘rewilding’ of late, which is great news for the environment, but in our gardens, we must share our space with nature, which often requires a certain level of planning and expertise.
Robin Parker Wildscaping can help you design your garden to support wildlife, whilst incorporating more traditional, perhaps existing garden features. Whether you simply want advice on the best pollinating plants to have in your border, or dream of having your own thriving ecosystem incorporating features such as a wildlife pond and wildflower meadow, we’re here to help.
Our Wildscaping services include:
- Garden plans/ designs for biodiversity
- Wildscape consultancy
- Wildflower meadows
- Wildlife ponds
- Planting of beneficial pollinating plants, trees and hedges
- Bespoke habitat installation; deadwood habitat piles, bird/bat boxes,
- hibernaculum, bug hotels, hedgehog highways etc
